Effective Date: 03/17/2026By scheduling or using services from James Legacy Notary Services, you agree to the following:Appointment RequestsMobile appointments booked online are considered requests until:• Documents are submitted
• Documents are reviewed
• Fees are confirmed
• Payment is receivedPayment Policy• Payment is required prior to mobile appointment confirmation
• Accepted methods include Debit Card, Credit Card, and PayPal
• Travel fees and applicable charges will be confirmed before serviceCancellation Policy• Cancellations must be made 1 hour for online notarizations or 2 hours for mobile notarizations prior to scheduled appointment time
• Travel fees may still apply if the notary has already dispatched
• No-shows may be chargedDocument RequirementsClients must:• Provide valid government-issued ID
• Ensure documents are complete (no blank required fields)
• Be willing and aware (not under duress)Remote Online Notary (RON)• Documents must be submitted in advance
• Identity verification is required
• Not all documents qualify for online notarizationRefusal of ServiceWe reserve the right to refuse notarization if:• Legal requirements are not met
• Identification is insufficient
• The signer appears unwilling, unaware, or coerced
• The document is incomplete or improperLimitation of LiabilityWe are not responsible for:• The content or legality of documents
• Outcomes related to the use of notarized documents
